Frequently asked questions
Will the discount really match at checkout?
Yes — that's the core of Combora. Prices are computed by Shopify Functions inside the checkout itself, so what the shopper sees is what Shopify charges, to the cent, in any currency.
Do I need to touch code or edit my theme?
No. Each bundle type has a ready-made theme block you add once in the theme editor — the app deep-links you to the exact spot. Everything else is configuration.
What happens if a product is in two bundles?
Nothing bad: at checkout each item gets the single best offer. Offers never stack by accident — only Combos stack, and only because you built them that way.
Can I migrate from another bundle app?
Yes. You can import bundles from a CSV (up to 200 per file, with per-row error reporting) or generate drafts from a whole collection in one click.
Does it work with my theme and languages?
The blocks inherit your theme's typography and colors, accept an accent color and corner radius, and ship storefront text in 7 languages.
Is my customers' data safe?
Combora stores no shopper PII — no IPs, names or emails. Analytics are aggregate order facts; the support log holds technical error codes only, purged after 30 days.
Can I try a bundle without my customers seeing it?
Yes — test mode. Publish a bundle in test mode and it only renders on theme previews and in the theme editor, and the discount only applies to customers tagged combora-test. Run the full checkout yourself, then flip it live with one click.
